About The Position

Adelphi is seeking General Education Paraprofessionals to support instructional and classroom activities within a school in Evans, Georgia. The paraprofessional will assist teachers in delivering instruction, supporting student learning, supervising students, and maintaining an organized classroom environment. The role requires the ability to assist in reading, writing, mathematics, and behavioral readiness activities while supporting the district’s instructional goals and maintaining compliance with district policies and student confidentiality requirements.

Requirements

• Meet Georgia paraprofessional qualification requirements.
• Demonstrated ability to support reading, writing, mathematics, behavior, readiness, and adaptive skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist teachers with classroom instruction and student learning activities.
• Support small-group or individual instruction under teacher supervision.
• Assist with classroom management and student supervision.
• Support students with academic tasks and skill development.
• Prepare instructional materials and maintain classroom resources.
• Collect and document student performance data as directed.
• Follow district procedures related to student safety and confidentiality.
• Participate in required training including mandated reporting and FERPA.
• Maintain consistent attendance to ensure continuity of instruction.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
