About The Position

Elmer Chocolate is the oldest family-owned chocolate company in America. Our factory in Ponchatoula is the 2nd-largest manufacturer of Valentine boxed chocolate in North America. Our automated robotic machinery makes the chocolate, and then associates place the trays & lids on an assembly line and box the displays for store shelves. Chat with fellow Associates as you smell delicious caramel and sweet sugar!

Requirements

• Must be 18 years old & pass drug screen(s)
• Reliable transportation
• Dependable attendance
• Ability to follow instructions
• Ability to work overtime and weekends if needed
• Ability to stand & walk for 10 hours
• Ability to stoop, bend, reach, use force, carry, push/pull, and lift <50 lbs. occasionally
• Ability to apply manual dexterity and specified visual acuity

Responsibilities

• Place trays & lids on an assembly line
• Box the displays for store shelves
• Cleaning (alternating Fridays)
