About The Position

We are seeking reliable and hardworking General Laborers to join our utility construction team in New Orleans, Louisiana. In this role, you will support field crews with the installation, maintenance, and repair of underground utilities such as water, sewer, gas, and telecommunications systems. The ideal candidate is safety-conscious, dependable, and able to perform physical labor while working collaboratively with a team in outdoor construction environments.

Requirements

• Ability to perform physical labor in a construction or outdoor work environment.
• Willingness to follow safety procedures and company policies.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive physical tasks.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to follow instructions from supervisors and crew leaders.
• Valid driver’s license preferred.
• 6 months

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in construction, utility work, or general labor.
• Experience working around underground utilities such as water, sewer, gas, or telecommunications.
• Familiarity with hand tools and basic construction equipment.
• Experience assisting equipment operators or drilling crews.
• CDL (Commercial Driver’s License) or ability to obtain one.
• Knowledge of construction site safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Assist crews with the installation and maintenance of underground utilities.
• Load, unload, and transport tools, materials, and equipment.
• Use hand tools and assist with basic construction tasks.
• Support equipment operators and skilled crew members as needed.
• Help prepare and clean up job sites.
• Follow all company safety policies and job site procedures.
• Assist with trenching, pipe installation, and site restoration tasks.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas.
