Requirements

  • High school diploma/GED.
  • Lifting up to 45 pounds.
  • Must be willing to work any shift.
  • 3+ months experience in a corrugated packaging or other manufacturing environment.
  • Ability and willingness to work overtime on short notice, both during the week and weekends.
  • Ability to work in manufacturing environment, with varying temperatures based on season, around machinery, and heavy forklift traffic.
  • Must be able to communicate, read and understand English.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

  • Work as part of a team in support of a manufacturing operation with a goal of increasing productivity; decreasing downtime and waste.
  • Assume active role in overall plant and facilities-related work. Position requires assisting all jobs on the plant floor.
  • Follow all company safety rules and lock-out tag-out procedures.
  • Maintain shop and shop equipment per 5S Standards.
  • May be required to stack parts up to 45lbs. for a period of up to 12 hours.
  • Perform a variety of manual labor tasks to facilitate safety, quality, productivity, housekeeping and maintenance needs.
  • Accurately perform tasks in a safe manner.
  • Highly motivated, dependable, and technically competent.
  • Problem solve when issues arise on a machine.
  • Other duties as assigned.
