About The Position

This position is responsible for maintaining accurate general ledger accounts and supporting month-end close processes. It ensures compliance with accounting standards while preparing journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reports, with a focus on designated areas such as hospitality, fixed asset management, and treasury operations. Essential Duties: Hospitality: Provide financial insights to hospitality teams for cost control and budgeting Apply a general understanding of hospitality business processes to ensure accurate accounting Fixed Asset Management: Maintain and reconcile the fixed asset register for both book and tax purposes Track and reconcile Construction in Progress (CIP) accounts Oversee asset capitalization, depreciation schedules, and disposals Apply proficiency in fixed asset accounting and lifecycle management to ensure accurate accounting 5+ years accounting experience, including CIP project management and capitalizing costs Strong understanding of GAAP, asset capitalization, depreciation, and disposals Treasury Operations: Monitor daily cash positions and execute treasury transactions (Compliance with GCMS) Prepare and maintain short-term and long-term cash flow projections Apply proficiency in treasury principles to ensure accurate accounting 5+ years accounting experience, including cash flow management and forecasting Strong understanding of GAAP and internal control frameworks

Requirements

  • 5+ years accounting experience, including CIP project management and capitalizing costs
  • Strong understanding of GAAP, asset capitalization, depreciation, and disposals
  • 5+ years accounting experience, including cash flow management and forecasting
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and internal control frameworks
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years accounting experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Microsoft AX/ D365
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems (Microsoft AX/D365 preferred)
  • General understanding of GAAP
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities, meet deadlines and work under pressure.
  • Ability to exercise initiative and judgment as well as make decisions within the scope of assigned authority
  • General understanding of manufacturing process
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion
