About The Position
Hilton Los Angeles Airport is looking to hire General Maintenance I to join the team! If you enjoy work that is hands on, have great trouble shooting skills, and knowledgeable in all things plumbing/welding, this is the role for you! We have 1,200 guest rooms and conveniently located near the airport and stadiums. Pay Rate: $31.50 and is based on applicable and specialized experience and location.
Requirements
- Up to 3 years minimum of building maintenance, plumbing, and electrical experience required.
- Basic computer skills such as Microsoft Word and Excel is required.
- The ability to work a flexible schedule that includes weekdays, evenings, weekends, and holidays is required.
Responsibilities
- Inspect guestrooms, public space and back of the house for areas to repair, touch up or replace.
- Perform electrical troubleshooting, installation of conduit and wire, installation copper and threaded pipes.
- Repairs, or replace items such as light bulbs, lamps, switches, outlets, faucets, toilets, hardware, filters, paint, furniture, wall coverings, caulking, grouting, gas equipment (boilers/water heaters) or other miscellaneous items.
- Troubleshoot chillers, boilers, HVAC, air handling units and hot and cold distribution systems.
- Hard wiring 3 phase high voltage exhibits.
- Assists other department team members in the systematic application of the preventive maintenance program.
- Make records of repairs made, or areas needing further attention.
