About The Position

The General Maintenance Technician will complete assigned preventive maintenance and reactive maintenance repairs requiring conveyor, mechanical, plumbing, electrical, instrumentation, HVAC and other equipment, systems or structures. Ensures repairs and maintenance to all equipment and facilities. Responds to spills and other emergency situations, performing tasks necessary. Assists in emergencies as needed. Days: Monday-Friday Hours: 7:30am-4pm Pay: 20.63 Hourly On-Call for emergencies

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous experience in janitorial, custodial, or general cleaning roles is a plus
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Familiarity with cleaning chemicals, equipment, and safety standards
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

Responsibilities

• Building Repairs: Fixing drywall, painting walls, repairing doors, windows, and floors.
• Systems Upkeep: Performing basic repairs and preventative maintenance on plumbing (clogs, leaks), electrical (, bulbs), and HVAC systems (filters, belts).
• Safety & Inspections: Conducting routine inspections of premises and equipment to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety codes.
• Equipment Maintenance: Cleaning, lubricating, ect.
