General Maintenance Mechanic
About The Position
Under the direction of Engineering Management, the role of General Maintenance Mechanic includes but is not limited to supporting the needs engineering team. Knowledge and ability to assemble and disassemble office furniture configurations. Keep specific equipment such as Grease Recovery Unit, vehicles and shops clean and ready for continual and next use. Support tool crib in area parts stocking, snow removal using heavy ride-on equipment and maintaining sidewalks and egress stairs. The General Maintenance Mechanic must comply with the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation’s Policies and Procedures and uphold safety protocols and regulatory standards at all times.
Requirements
- High School diploma / GED Required
- Two (2) plus years’ experience in the qualified labor trades or equivalent field
- Working knowledge of hand tools, mechanical/electrical aptitude
