Use your best in class management skills to make a real impact on patient healing. Sodexo is seeking an Environmental Services General Manager for Hugh Chatham Health in Elkin, NC. This is a not-for-profit, community-based healthcare network that has served northwest North Carolina for nearly a century. Sodexo is seeking this director for healthcare to oversee the housekeeping team. The successful candidate will work Day Shift managing a team of 27. Overall will manage daily interaction, weekly huddles, and meetings. Prior Environmental Service management experience in a health care/hospital environment would be helpful. Candidate must have excellent communication skills and have the ability to handle multiple priorities at one time, in a fast paced environment. With a broad presence across multiple counties, it provides comprehensive care through a dedicated team of providers and healthcare professionals. The organization offers a wide range of services, including family medicine, women’s health, urgent care, and specialty care. Requirements

has 5 years previous custodial or housekeeping management experience in a hospital or healthcare environment
Minimum Education Requirement - Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
Minimum Management Experience - 3 years
Minimum Functional Experience - 3 years

Nice To Haves

Prior Environmental Service management experience in a health care/hospital environment

Responsibilities

has experience with Sodexo EVS systems and processes
has experience effectively managing projects within agreed upon time-lines
has experience improving patient satisfaction, and driving full compliance to HCAHPS, local, state and Joint Commission standards
is proficient with computers and other technology
is responsible for driving client and patient experience scores
Provides a clean and safe environment for patients, visitors and staff
