About The Position

Sodexo’s Campus Segment is seeking an experienced and dynamic General Manager 3 to lead dining operations at Cameron University in Lawton, Oklahoma. Cameron University is a public institution founded in 1908 that serves roughly 3,600–3,700 students and offers more than 50 undergraduate and graduate degree programs across business, liberal arts, science, technology, and education. Situated on a scenic campus in southwest Oklahoma, Cameron University plays a vital role in the region’s higher education landscape and is known for its student-focused learning environment, small class sizes, and strong ties to the Lawton community. As the senior-most Sodexo leader on campus, the General Manager will set the strategic direction for all dining programs, drive operational excellence, and cultivate strong partnerships with campus leadership, students, and staff. This role oversees resident dining, retail operations, and catering programs while ensuring alignment with Sodexo’s mission, values, and contractual commitments. This position requires a forward-thinking, people-focused leader with a passion for innovation, hospitality, and building a strong campus community through exceptional dining experiences. Requirements

have a work history demonstrating strong employee engagement leadership skills, as well as previous supervisory experience and the ability to work collaboratively
have culinary production experience and a strong background in safety and sanitation compliance
can manage multiple priorities, demonstrate professional communication skills, and a passion for a high level of customer service
prioritize tasks and exhibit flexibility to take on additional responsibilities as needed
demonstrate working knowledge of Sodexo Food Management System (FMS) The Market Connection (TMC) and is proficient in computer skills and report management experience. This does not apply to external candidates
Minimum Education Requirement - Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experienceMinimum Management Experience - 3 yearsMinimum Functional Experience - 3 years

Responsibilities

Lead all aspects of campus dining operations, including resident dining, retail venues, and campus catering services.
Drive operational excellence and innovation in food quality, service delivery, and overall guest experience.
Develop, mentor, and inspire a diverse team to achieve high performance, engagement, and professional growth.
Oversee financial performance including P&L accountability, budgeting, forecasting, labor management, and cost controls.
Maintain exceptional client relations, serving as a trusted advisor and strategic partner to university leadership and campus stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with Sodexo standards, regulatory requirements, and all food safety and sanitation protocols.
Collaborate with campus partners to design and implement dining programs that support student engagement, retention, and campus life.
Champion a positive, inclusive workplace culture that reflects Sodexo’s commitment to service excellence, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
