About The Position
Sodexo is hiring our General Manager EVS in Florida! Creating a clean, safe, and welcoming environment is essential to the success of any organization—and in this role, you will lead the custodial operations that make that possible. As a key partner to both frontline teams and executive‑level clients, you will blend operational expertise with empathy, communication, and influence. You’ll guide existing staff through professional transitions, strengthen client relationships at the C‑suite level, and ensure service excellence across all custodial functions. Relocation is available and this is a potential sale and contingent offers will be made.
Requirements
- A strong custodial management background with hands‑on experience leading teams in complex environments.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to confidently engage, influence, and present to C‑suite clients.
- A people‑first leadership style grounded in empathy, patience, and the ability to guide teams through organizational change.
- Proven success managing client relationships, driving operational improvements, and advocating for resources that enhance service delivery.
- Minimum Education Requirement - Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experienceMinimum Management Experience - 3 yearsMinimum Functional Experience - 3 years
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily custodial operations, ensuring high standards of cleanliness, safety, and service across all assigned facilities.
- Build strong, trust‑based relationships with C‑suite leaders, influencing decisions and advocating for investments that elevate custodial performance.
- Lead with empathy and compassion during staff transitions, supporting employees as they onboard into Sodexo’s culture, expectations, and values.
- Implement operational best practices, optimize staffing and workflows, and ensure compliance with all regulatory and organizational requirements.
