About The Position

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic General Manager to lead our vibrant recreational resort located in Central North Minnesota. This role offers an exciting opportunity to oversee a diverse property that includes an RV park, golf course, fishing activities, and various recreational amenities. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for hospitality, and the ability to manage fast-paced operations while delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in resort or hospitality management, preferably in a recreational or outdoor setting
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Knowledge of food and beverage operations, including banquet services
  • Financial acumen with experience in budgeting and financial analysis
  • Passion for outdoor recreation and guest service excellence
  • Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and extended hours as needed

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations of the resort, including RV park, golf course, fishing activities, and recreational facilities
  • Lead and manage food and beverage services, including banquet operations, ensuring high standards of quality and customer satisfaction
  • Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to optimize efficiency and profitability
  • Manage staff recruitment, training, and performance to maintain a motivated and professional team
  • Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations
  • Coordinate marketing and promotional efforts to attract new guests and retain existing visitors
  • Monitor financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and expense control
  • Foster a welcoming and positive environment for guests and staff, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork
