About The Position

GENERAL MANAGER - The Little Gym of Arlington/Mansfield About Us: The Little Gym is a premier children's fitness and development center serving families in Arlington/Mansfield since 2013. We provide quality programming for children ages 4 months-12 years through gymnastics, sports skills, dance, camps, and birthday parties. Join Our Leadership Team! Position Overview: The General Manager is a full-time, career-level leadership position responsible for overseeing operations, building a high-performing team, driving sales growth, and ensuring world-class customer experiences. This is NOT a teaching position - you'll manage the business while our talented instructors work with children.

Requirements

  • Embrace a "can-do" attitude and thrive on hard work
  • Have 5+ years management experience in retail, service, hospitality, or fitness
  • Successfully led teams and driven sales results in previous roles
  • Connect well with families and maintain a consistently positive demeanor
  • Demonstrate natural leadership qualities and entrepreneurial spirit
  • Are organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities
  • Balance fun with a strong work ethic
  • Are flexible with scheduling: 6 days per week including Saturdays (our busiest day) and occasional evenings

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in children's programs, fitness, or education
  • Familiarity with franchise operations
  • Familiarity with Salesforce Program

Responsibilities

  • Manage and develop a team of 10-12 team members through effective recruitment, training, development, and recognition
  • Oversee daily operations including scheduling, front desk, customer service, and facility management
  • Convert and nurture leads to drive new member enrollment through in-store consultations and local community events
  • Build relationships with prospective families and sell the program
  • Ensure outstanding customer service and member experiences, setting the standard for your team
  • Manage administrative tasks including attendance tracking, inventory, and reporting
  • Develop community partnerships as a key representative of The Little Gym
  • Ensure compliance with franchise standards and safety protocols
  • Coordinate birthday parties, camps, and special events
