About The Position

Summary: Assist the General Merchandise-Floral Manager in the day-to-day activities in the general merchandise, wellness & health, and floral department. This role blends traditional retail tasks with a specialized focus on vitamins, supplements, natural body care, and holistic lifestyle products. You will act as a knowledgeable resource for customers seeking to improve their well-being while ensuring the department remains organized, fully stocked, and compliant with safety standards.

Requirements

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); interest in holistic health or nutrition is preferred.

Responsibilities

Receive, unload, and verify shipments.
Efficiently stock shelves using FIFO (First In, First Out) method to ensure product freshness and minimize shrink.
Perform “facing” (pulling products to the front) and ensure all items are correctly tagged and priced.
Assist in the ordering processes.
Create floral arrangements to display and sell.
Perform plant maintenance, including watering, trimming and rotating.
Execute seasonal resets and build creative displays for promotional items.
Maintain a functional understanding of wellness trends, including organic standards, dietary supplements, and natural ingredients, to assist with customer inquiries.
Maintain a clean, organized, and aesthetically pleasing shopping environment.
Other duties may be assigned.
