About The Position

This position provides strategic leadership and direction to production supervisors, ensuring operational excellence across all functional areas. Responsibilities include oversight of production documentation, yield performance, workforce management, attendance compliance, disciplinary processes, employee engagement, retention initiatives, safety standards, and continuous improvement efforts. The role is accountable for achieving performance objectives related to safety, quality, productivity, workers’ compensation, employee movement, and overall team member morale, while supporting broader organizational goals.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • A minimum of one year of supervisory experience is required; two or more years with Tyson Foods or comparable industry experience is strongly preferred.
  • Basic computer proficiency, including the ability to manage production records and operational reporting.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate and influence team members and leadership across multiple organizational levels.
  • Proven leadership capability, sound decision-making, effective problem solving, and the initiative to lead special projects that drive operational performance and continuous improvement.
  • Ability to access and navigate all production areas to conduct inspections and operational audits, including climbing fixed ladders, stairs, and elevated platforms.
  • Must be able to work in controlled environments with temperatures typically ranging from 28°F to 45°F.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior exposure to processing floor operations is advantageous.
  • HACCP certification is preferred, including working knowledge of HACCP principles, CCP monitoring, and verification procedures.
  • Experience in fresh meats processing is beneficial.
