About The Position

As a General Worker with Mauser Packaging Solutions in Cincinnati, you hold a very important role in completing our process for daily operation by supportubg plant production needs for daily operation.. This position allows Mauser Packaging Solutions to effectively produce and deliver packaging solutions while also reducing our carbon footprint.

Requirements

Understand plant safety guidelines and pass all required safety training
High School diploma or equivalent
Experience working in a Manufacturing Environment
Ability to work in a fast paced environment
Must be able to understand verbal and written instructions as well as add and subtract whole numbers.
Troubleshoot problems and report issues
Must work well in team environment
Ability to be on feet up to 8-12 hours per shift
Use of hands and fingers to perform job function
Ability to stoop, kneel, bend and climb
Environmental conditions include heat, cold, fumes (lacquer applications, over varnish, inks, acids)
Ability to lift up to 35lbs

Responsibilities

Demonstrates ability to meet production standards on specific assignments within required time
Perform manual labor as directed.
Lift, stack, band, load, and unload material.
Use hand tools and equipment such as but not limited to: Load and unload material, supplies, and equipment form carriers and/or storage areas.
Maintains good housekeeping and clean work areas in assigned space.
Performs work in all areas of the plant including fork truck.
Wash and inspect all coater rolls, and place into roller storage rack.
Collect and sort daily coater and press spoilage, strap, weigh and keep record of spoilage for production control purposes.
Relieve production employees, sort and/or stack plate, operate bundle turnover.
Performs other duties as required by Supervisor or Manager.
Follows all company policies and procedures.
