Job Description: A General Production Team Member is responsible for preparing pieces for shipment. Preparation includes partial or full assembly, wrapping parts, inspecting parts for quality control, and accurately counting correct hardware components Typical First Shift start time: 8AM. Typical end time: 4:30PM Typical Second Shift start time: 4PM. Typical end time: 12:30AM

Requirements

Must have great attention to detail.
A great attitude and flexibility the adjust to the changing needs of frontline manufacturing.
Ability to work well with a team and independently.
Must be able to effectively communicate.
Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
Basic computer skills.
High school diploma or GED is required.

Nice To Haves

1 year experience in a manufacturing facility is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Sort machined parts as they come out of the CNC Shop and place aluminum inserts into designated locations.
Assemble machined parts to the point they are ready for shipment.
Properly package finished product with correct paperwork, and appropriate hardware for customer to complete assembly when received.
Inspect all handled parts to ensure quality.
Hand tool operation to include drills, drill presses, miter saws, utility knife, glue guns, screwdrivers, shrink wrap machine and engraver.
Help to maintain proper inventory of boxes, hardware, labels, etc.
Order replacement parts for any defects.
Document all defective parts prior to recycling.
Special projects as requested.
