About The Position

This role is responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising cost‑effective and timely maintenance activities that support the safe and efficient operation of all facility equipment. The position oversees maintenance and refrigeration personnel across all three shifts and ensures that all work meets regulatory, safety, and operational standards. Key responsibilities include managing maintenance operations, supporting Process Safety Management (PSM) compliance, troubleshooting technical equipment issues, and coordinating with contractors, vendors, or engineering teams on equipment installations and modifications. This position also plays a key role in improving ergonomics, ensuring OSHA compliance, and maintaining accurate records. Additionally, the role manages Team Member schedules, reviews timekeeping and attendance reports, leads monthly safety meetings, and performs other assigned duties.

Requirements

  • Education: Post‑secondary education including specialized training, vocational coursework, or college classes; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of maintenance, refrigeration, or related supervisory experience.
  • Computer Skills: Basic computer proficiency.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills required.
  • Supervisory Responsibilities: Supervises a team performing related maintenance and refrigeration tasks.
  • Travel: Approximately 1–5 trips per year.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and supervise cost‑effective preventative and corrective maintenance for all equipment.
  • Direct, coordinate, and support maintenance and refrigeration teams across all shifts.
  • Administer and support the Process Safety Management (PSM) program.
  • Partner with contractors, vendors, and engineering on equipment installations, upgrades, and modifications.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical equipment issues.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance, safety, and regulatory records.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA standards and support facility safety programs.
  • Train employees in proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Identify and implement ergonomic improvements within the facility.
  • Manage employee schedules; review clocking and attendance reports.
  • Conduct monthly safety and team meetings.
  • Perform additional assignments as required.
