Union: Lodge 1297 Shift: 6:00am-2:00pm, straight day shift Pay Rate: $25.84 per hour OVERVIEW Perform various duties under supervision of machine repair staff Operate forklift to move equipment, parts, baskets, pallets, etc. Use hand and power tools for disassembly, cleaning, reassembly, and testing of burners Clean parts by various methods Grease and oil production machinery Maintain proper oil levels, change filters, and move oil drums Stage, carry, and handle job change equipment for changeovers, working with journeyman performing job changes on machinery Clean up glass and steam clean machinery Sweep, clean, and empty trash containers and scrap metal containers Other duties as assigned

Requirements

High school diploma or GED required
Must successfully pass drug screen and background check
Must be able to lift up to 45 lbs.
Must be qualified to drive a forklift and tow motor
Must be able to properly use both hand and power tools
Must successfully pass a respirator fit test (facial hair not allowed), physical capacity test and DAT test (mechanical aptitude test)
Must observe safety and good housekeeping procedures
Willingness to work in a manufacturing environment (noise, oil, high temperature)

Responsibilities
