About The Position

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible General Surgeon for Acute Care and Trauma Surgery in Irving, Texas. Opportunity Highlights: 1. The candidate will need to be interested and comfortable in providing both acute care and trauma services. This opportunity does not include a critical care component. 2. Opportunity will be joining an established group at Baylor Scott & White Medical Center - Irving 3. Estimated 9 (24hr) shifts per month. 4. Provider will primarily handle acute care cases generated from a specified number of call days each month. 5. The provider will also likely host 1-2 clinic days to assist with post-op/ follow-up patients. 6. No option for an elective practice. Requirements

Doctorate Degree in Medicine
Licensed to Practice Medicine in the state of Texas by the Texas Medical Board
Board certified/Board Eligible

Responsibilities

Providing acute care and trauma services
Handling acute care cases generated from a specified number of call days each month
Hosting 1-2 clinic days to assist with post-op/ follow-up patients
