About The Position

General Surgical Pathologist with GI expertise – Oklahoma City, OK AmeriPath and Diagnostics Pathology Services, Inc. is seeking a hospital-based General Surgical Pathologist with GI expertise. Responsibilities Case work will include AP/CP general surgical sign-out, liver, pancreas, transplant, routine GI, and frozen sign-out. The selected individual will work in a tertiary care hospital as a part of a team of 6 pathologists and an expected broader team of 10 pathologists. Hospital lab medical directorship opportunities are available. Qualifications MD or DO degree plus AP/CP Residency Must be board certified/board eligible in anatomic and clinical pathology GI/Surgical Pathology Fellowship a plus Must hold valid unrestricted license to practice medicine in the state where practice is located or be eligible to obtain licensure Must hold active privileges in facility where any inpatient work is interpreted Benefits Information Insurance for medical, dental and vision coverage is available 401 (K) plan- company matches up to 5% after the 1 st anniversary $30,000 sign-on bonus Paid time off - 6 weeks (30 days Mon-Fri) for vacation, CME and sick time Paid time off for 6 annual Holidays per year Salary depends on expertise and experience Physician annual incentive plan bonus Life insurance available for purchase (supplemental life, dependent life and short term and long-term disability) Reimbursement of up to $5,000 for CME activities Paid malpractice insurance Oklahoma City is a large city boasting arts, theatre, music, sports, natural beauty and outdoor recreation. Requirements
