Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and overtime

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited institution
• Previous janitorial/sanitation experience
• Previous experience in a food manufacturing environment strongly preferred
• Demonstrated ability to follow basic instructions
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment

Responsibilities

• Maintains cleaning and sanitation documentation using the Master Sanitation Schedule
• Assist with cleaning during press and packaging preventive maintenance when equipment is down and available
• Assists with removal of trash and product waste totes
• Assists with safety and food safety audit corrective actions
• Assists in monitoring infeed and outfeed systems for sources of product defect or contamination
• Assist Silo Operators with daily cleaning duties when necessary
• Aid in planning and executing long term cleaning projects
• Partner with company leadership to proactively identify and execute on continuous improvement opportunities in the areas of: safety, food safety, quality, productivity, and sanitation
• Other duties, as assigned
