About The Position
Branch out with a warehouse career at Family Dollar! We are looking for industrial athletes to join our amazing warehouse team! As a General Warehouse Associate, you’ll get to make a difference in a fast-paced distribution center. Current Shifts include: 1st Shift Monday-Friday 7:00 AM – 3:30 AM
Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs. frequently
- Ability to stand, walk, lift and load boxes 8+ hours
- Team players
- At least 1yr of previous warehouse experience
Responsibilities
- Work safely, quickly and efficiently handing freight and inventory throughout the warehouse
- Ensure accurate processing, packing, loading and shipping of freight
- Check merchandise to ensure that shipment is accurate and merchandise is not damaged.
- Unload trailers by hand and with pallet jacks and other equipment as needed
- Assist in various receiving duties
- Assist in other general warehouse duties on an as needed basis
