Generator Shop Technician

This position involves maintenance of shop and yard, building and repairing field equipment, loading trucks and maintaining a well-stocked warehouse.
Requirements
- Adhere to OSHA safety rules and use of equipment – hard hats, etc.
- Adhere to Power Plus safety and quality standards when setting and/or picking up equipment
- Must arrive at shop on time ready to work
- Provide quality work product and attention to detail
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- An ability to manage multiple priorities
- Strong team player.
- Ability to see tasks through to completion
- Good communication skills required
Responsibilities
- Cleans and maintains shop and yard on a daily basis
- Maintains Inventory and stock of filters and parts
- Service and wash generators as needed
- Maintains oil tanks (fresh and waste) along with updating log
- Maintains loose parts, cable, filters and misc. products off the floor to maintain an organized shop
- Maintains storm drain, rain gutters and overall cleanliness of yard
- Assist mechanics and field technicians as needed
- Able to use all power and hand tools safely
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 75 lbs
- Ability to drive forklift and load and unload equipment
- Other Duties may be assigned to meet business needs
