We are seeking a genetic counselor with interest and/or expertise in cardiovascular genetics to join our collaborative team within the Department of Medical Genetics and Genomics and work closely with providers in the Heart, Vascular & Thoracic Institute at the Cleveland Clinic. In this role, you will counsel patients with personal or family histories suggestive of hereditary cardiovascular conditions, including aortic disease, arrhythmias, cardiomyopathies, congenital heart disease, and lipid disorders, through both in-person and virtual visits. You will guide patients and providers through genetic testing options, coordinate testing, interpret and communicate results, and contribute to workflow optimization projects that enhance genetic services. Alongside a team of 35+ genetic counselors, you will also support education for trainees and healthcare professionals and may participate in research related to medical genetics. A caregiver in this position works a hybrid schedule from 8:00 a.m. -- 5:00 p.m. This role is primarily based at Main Campus, with responsibilities at both Main Campus and satellite locations, and includes flexible remote work options.
