About The Position

Parsons is seeking a talented Ground Entry Point (GEP) Physical Security Lead to join our growing team! In this role you will serve as the technical authority for the design, implementation, and operational assurance of physical security for facilities supporting protected mission communications and operations for a next-generation national security space ground segment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in security management, Criminal Justice, Engineering, or related field.
  • Active Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility.
  • 10+ years of experience in physical security design or secure facility implementation supporting classified or mission-critical environments.
  • Experience supporting facilities processing classified information or protected communications.
  • Knowledge of DoD/IC physical security standards and practices.

Nice To Haves

  • Professional security certifications such as PSP or CPP.
  • Experience with hardened communications sites, data centers, or remote operational locations.
  • Experience supporting inspections, accreditations, or secure facility authorization determinations.
  • Experience working with construction or facility engineering teams.

Responsibilities

  • Lead physical security planning ensuring survivability and controlled access to mission communications infrastructure and operational systems.
  • Develop facility security and site hardening plans and operational access control procedures.
  • Oversee design, installation, integration, and sustainment of physical security systems including access control, IDS, CCTV, and barriers.
  • Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability analyses and implement mitigation measures.
  • Coordinate with construction and engineering teams reviewing drawings and layouts for security compliance and effectiveness.
  • Support facility accreditation, readiness inspections, and activation activities.
  • Develop contingency and response procedures for physical security incidents affecting operations.
  • Coordinate with cybersecurity, COMSEC, and network teams to protect communications entry points.
  • Train site personnel on incident response and reporting requirements.
