Summary: Performs a variety of duties within the Operation Sharing warehouse, assisting both Cap Programs, Donors, Recipients, and any other Customers

Requirements

Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent General Studies Required
Years of Experience: 1 or more years of successful experience in related field or combination of education and experience
Certifications and Licensure: Possess a Valid Kentucky Driver's License and Maintain a Safe Driving Record Required
CAP Driving Certification (or ability to obtain within first 90 days) Required
In order to drive personal vehicle on CAP business, must obtain and maintain a policy of motor vehicle insurance coverage on privately-owned vehicle with insurance coverage amounts of $50,000 bodily injury per person per accident; $100,000 bodily injury for all bodily injuries per accident; and $50,000 property damage per accident.
DOT Medical Card Required
Forklift Certification (or Ability to Obtain) Required
Physical Requirements: Ability to reach, push, pull, bend, stoop, stand, walk
Lifts/moves items with unknown weight or that are awkward shapes and sizes with assistance
Sit for extended periods of time
Stand for extended periods of time
Use a step ladder
Lift 75 lb from floor to waist
Push with 14 lb force for 324 ft
Have good visual acuity with corrective lenses
Have good hearing capabilities

Responsibilities

Serve recipients in a 20-minute format in selecting GIK and loading GIK as needed.
Schedule appointments and verify completion of distribution forms by recipients, while maintaining inventory control.
Operates forklift for restocking GIK and maintains appearance of area, while providing excellent customer service.
