SummaryThe GIS Technician I/II/III provides mapping services and related information to various departments company-wide and outside entities for a geographical area using specialized software. Completes all work assigned with minimal supervision and instruction and an understanding of where and how to adhere to priority and turnaround time frames. Operates interfacing computer programs, reads/interprets blueprints/engineering drawings, and manipulates/understands digital data to be managed and entered into the database. Possesses moderate knowledge of mapping techniques/procedures and drafting standards. Has ability to read and interpret inter-discipline drawings.
