Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or certification in GIS, Geography, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Familiarity with GIS software (ArcGIS).
  • Foundational understanding of geospatial data concepts, formats, and geoprocessing tools.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Working proficiency in data collection methods.

Responsibilities

  • Collect, process, and analyze spatial data, ensuring accuracy and quality control.
  • Perform data entry, digitizing, and editing of geographic information in GIS software (e.g., ArcGIS).
  • Assist with the creation, maintenance, and updating of maps, reports, and spatial data layers.
  • Conduct basic spatial analysis and prepare maps and visual materials for projects.
  • Respond to routine GIS data requests and support project teams with GIS deliverables.
  • Work under regular oversight from a GIS Manager.
  • Learn industry and company standards, best practices, and policies.
  • Take initiative to grow and contribute within the GIS team.
