About The Position

We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and experienced Global Compliance Specialist to join our remote compliance and risk management team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that organizational operations adhere to applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies across multiple jurisdictions. The ideal candidate has strong knowledge of global regulatory frameworks, risk assessment, and corporate governance practices. This position requires excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively in a remote, fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Law, Business Administration, Finance, Risk Management, or related field
  • 4+ years of experience in compliance, risk management, or regulatory affairs
  • Strong understanding of global compliance frameworks (e.g., GDPR, SOX, AML, FCPA)
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment
  • High level of integrity and attention to detail
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States (valid U.S. work permit required)

  • Professional certifications (e.g., CCEP, CAMS, CRCM, or similar)
  • Experience working in multinational or highly regulated industries
  • Familiarity with compliance management systems and audit tools

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and ensure compliance with international, federal, and state regulations
  • Develop, implement, and maintain compliance policies, procedures, and controls
  • Conduct risk assessments and compliance audits across business functions
  • Identify compliance gaps and recommend corrective actions
  • Collaborate with legal, finance, and operations teams to ensure regulatory alignment
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of global regulatory changes and industry standards
  • Prepare compliance reports, documentation, and regulatory filings
  • Support internal and external audits and investigations
  • Deliver compliance training and awareness programs to employees
  • Ensure adherence to data privacy, anti-corruption, and corporate governance standards
