About The Position

We are looking for a highly organized and execution-focused Global Events Specialist to support the planning and delivery of Elastic’s Third-Party Events, including industry conferences and tradeshows such as RSA Conference (RSAC), AWS re:Invent, Gartner Security & Risk Management Summit, Google Cloud Next, Black Hat and more. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in dynamic environments, enjoys leading multiple workstreams, and is passionate about delivering high-quality event experiences that drive brand awareness, pipeline, and customer engagement. You will work internal Elastic teams and external vendors to bring our event presence to life—from pre-event planning through onsite execution and post-event follow-up. This role will be based in Canada.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in event marketing, preferably with third-party events, tradeshows and conferences in tech
  • Strong project management and organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to run multiple events and deadlines simultaneously
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Familiarity with CRM systems (Salesforce & Marketo), Google Analytics, CVENT, Splash and other marketing tools.
  • Travel required to support onsite event execution as needed

Responsibilities

  • Support end-to-end execution of logistics, timelines, and results
  • Handle event planning workstreams such as booth coordination, sponsorship results, and vendor management
  • Coordinate on event goals, messaging, and attendee engagement strategies
  • Track and run event budgets, invoices, and reconciliation
  • Assist in the management and execution of onsite activations, meetings programs, and ancillary events
  • Support speaker and sponsored session logistics, including submissions, coordination, and content tracking
  • Partner with sales and marketing teams to support lead capture, meetings, and onsite engagement
  • Develop and maintain standardized tools, templates, and planning documentation
  • Coordinate shipping, inventory, and onsite materials for events
  • Support post-event reporting, including metrics, insights, and recommendations
