About The Position

Assist with day-to-day operations, including but not limited to perform daily tasks, answering questions regarding FX products & rates, international payment needs, client relationship management (phone & in-person), generating reports & analytics, playing an essential role in maintenance & support of ongoing initiatives. Assist with sales outreach efforts; creating client pitch book; business development & growth initiatives which include product training, sales presentations, and marketing events. Executes FX transactions on behalf of BOH clients within limits and guidelines set in the bank’s foreign exchange trading policies Assisting the FX advisors and management team as they are engaging clients and prospects on foreign exchange hedging strategies and currency trends, analyzing market data and writing commentaries on key economic and market developments Complies fully with all Bank Operational and Credit policies and procedures as well as all regulatory requirements (e.g., Bank Secrecy Act, Know Your Client, Community Reinvestment Act, Fair Lending Practices, Code of Conduct, etc.) Manage and monitor outstanding FX orders to ensure accuracy and timely trade execution Provide both verbal and written FX market update to internal staff and external customers Assist in managing the bank’s foreign currency Nostro balances Run various analysis to help analyzing market conditions and any other ad hoc reports required. Assist on system implementation, including system developing and testing Calculate and reconcile the FX P&L daily Performs other duties as requested

Requirements

Minimum 1 year banking or financial services industry experience
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in related field, such as finance, business management, economics, and statistics.
In-depth understanding of financial market dynamics
Must have excellent verbal/written communication skills sufficient to interact with all levels of bank personnel and customers
Good organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks

Nice To Haves

Fluency in Korean a plus
