A Global Corporate Communications Intern at Franklin Templeton will split their time between several areas of the business: Public Relations, Internal Communications and the Ambassador Program. The Internal Communications team drives employee engagement and strategic alignment across the firm, translating business priorities into clear, compelling storytelling. The Ambassador Program elevates senior leaders as authentic voices of the firm across media, social, and internal platforms. The Public Relations team seeks to positively position Franklin Templeton in the media as the premier global investment management organization with its experienced team of respected investment managers, comprehensive line of top-performing investment solutions and strong brand presence. The team operates across multiple geographies, providing a unique opportunity to engage with a variety of cultures, stakeholders, and communication styles. Collaboration is at the heart of the team’s culture. Members frequently share ideas, provide constructive feedback, and celebrate each other's successes. A strong sense of camaraderie ensures everyone feels supported. The team frequently interacts with senior executives to refine key messages and CSR priorities. A Global Corporate Communications Intern at Franklin Templeton can expect to learn: Employee engagement and internal communications strategies External communications and media relations strategies, including how to identify news hooks, pitch reporters, manage media requests and work with company spokespeople Daily media coverage monitoring Drafting and editing press releases, talking points and Q&A documents Internal communications tools, including email campaigns and employee communication platforms, like SharePoint and Yammer/Viva Engage Working with global teams across multiple regions and geographies Media training techniques
