About The Position

The Communications Leader oversees the strategy, development, and execution of communications that support complex, multi workstream transformation initiatives across the enterprise. This leader shapes the overarching transformation narrative, ensuring clarity, alignment, and consistent messaging across global stakeholder groups. Operating at both strategic and hands on levels, the role guides senior leaders through moments of change that require precision, influence, and strong storytelling. Plays a critical role in driving understanding, engagement, and adoption during sustained organizational transformation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in enterprise or multi workstream transformation communications.
  • Demonstrated expertise in executive level writing, storytelling, and narrative development.
  • Proven ability to simplify complex concepts into clear, actionable messaging.
  • Strong project management skills with experience navigating concurrent timelines and diverse stakeholder needs.
  • Experience in global, matrixed environments with the ability to operate fluidly across geographies, cultures, and functions.
  • High degree of emotional intelligence, with the ability to influence and collaborate in environments of high ambiguity.
  • Comfort supporting CEO or Board level communication needs.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in operating model redesign, digital transformation, or multi phase strategic change programs.
  • Familiarity with change management methodologies and integration of communication strategies with behavior change.
  • Experience using analytics to assess communication effectiveness.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain an integrated communications strategy spanning enterprise wide, multi year transformation efforts.
  • Establish and manage a unified transformation narrative, reinforcing organizational purpose, priorities, and expected outcomes.
  • Build and maintain a strategic communications calendar to align key messages, timing, and sequencing across functions and global regions.
  • Draft executive messages, presentations, talking points, FAQs, and transformation briefings that simplify complex information.
  • Shape leadership voice and tone, ensuring consistent, compelling, and credible messaging across all executive communication channels.
  • Drive narrative cohesion across town halls, leadership forums, newsletters, internal campaigns, and earnings adjacent communication moments.
  • Connect communications across interdependent workstreams, reducing noise and message fatigue while reinforcing a cohesive storyline.
  • Partner closely with Strategy, People & Culture, Change Management, Finance, and Transformation to ensure messaging supports organizational objectives.
  • Lead coordination with regional and country communications partners supporting specific workstreams or localized transformation activities.
  • Produce high quality written, visual, and multimedia content tailored to stakeholder needs and communication objectives.
  • Select, manage, and optimize channels—including intranet, email, video, collaboration platforms, and leadership communications.
  • Maintain brand, tone, and narrative consistency across all transformation related content.
  • Identify and segment stakeholder groups; tailor messaging cadence, content, and delivery method for each audience.
  • Collaborate with Change Management to align communications with desired behaviors and adoption milestones.
  • Equip leaders and managers with toolkits, messages, and resources to confidently communicate with their teams.
  • Define KPIs and measurement approaches for transformation communications.
  • Use analytics, feedback loops, leader insights, and global inputs to adapt communications in real time.
  • Continuously refine messaging to improve clarity, reach, and impact.
  • Influence and guide leaders at all levels with credibility, clarity, and presence.
  • Foster alignment across global communications professionals—leading indirectly and through influence rather than formal reporting lines.
  • Role model communication excellence through coaching, feedback, and thought partnership with team members and senior leaders.
  • Cultivate psychological safety, curiosity, and learning in communications practices across workstreams.
