The Golf Course Groundskeeper is responsible for maintaining the overall appearance, playability, and health of the golf courses. This role supports daily course operations by performing turf maintenance, landscaping, and course preparation tasks to ensure an exceptional experience for our members and guests. Requirements
- Previous golf course or landscaping experience preferred (but willing to train motivated candidates)
- Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays
- Strong attention to detail and pride in quality work
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to work outdoors in heat, humidity, and varying weather conditions
- Stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, and lift for extended periods
- Frequently lift up to 50 lbs
- Operate landscaping and mowing equipment safely
- Ability to perform repetitive physical tasks throughout shift
Responsibilities
- Mow greens, tees, fairways, and rough to championship standards
- Rake and maintain bunkers
- Operate and maintain golf course equipment safely and efficiently
- Edge, trim, and landscape around course features
- Assist with irrigation repairs and watering schedules
- Apply fertilizers and other turf products under supervision
- Remove debris and prepare course for daily play
- Follow all safety procedures and environmental best practices
- Support special tournaments and resort events as needed
