Golf Course Players Assistant
About The Position
Welcome all guests to Dacotah Ridge Golf Club in a friendly, professional manner. Create a positive first impression for guests. Assist players in teeing off on time. Inform players of any and all local rules in the Clubs pace of play policy. Maintain accurate tee sheet, noting changes in start times, group pairings and cart usage. Ranger the course, politely informing guests of their pace of play. Identify all players to ensure that they are on the golf course legitimately and are following all Club rules. Assist Outside Service and Professional staff as needed. Ensure each guest has a positive experience by spreading hospitality and goodwill. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements
- 10+ years playing golf and/or working in the golf industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Working knowledge of golf course etiquette and the importance of pace of play.
- Knowledge of golf operations and equipment.
- Friendly, outgoing, and enthusiastic personality.
- Able to communicate and enforce Club policies in an authoritative and convincing manner.
- Able to work effectively with people of all ages.
- Able to work in an outdoor environment.
- Able to work nights and weekends.
- Sensitivity to various cultures, including Native American cultures.
- Regular attendance and punctuality.
- Able and willing to work any changes in scheduled hours as required.
- Serve as a credit to Jackpot Junction Casino Hotel, and encourage others to do the same.
- Mobility throughout the facility.
- Able to bend and stoop repeatedly.
- Able to walk extensively.
