The City of Steamboat Springs' Haymaker Division is hiring Seasonal Starter/Rangers to join their team! Put your talents and skills to work to contribute to our vibrant community! These employees will work closely with the Assistant Golf Professional, Head Golf Professional and Golf Staff to ensure the highest level of customer service to members and their guests. This is a customer facing, customer focused position to act as a positive ambassador for the golf course.
Requirements
- Basic golf knowledge
- Highly motivated and outgoing individual
- Reliable, ability to solve problems and work independently
Nice To Haves
- Prior golf course experienced not necessary, but helpful
Responsibilities
- Serves as an ambassador of the City of Steamboat Springs and upholds City values of Service, Teamwork, Integrity, Well-being, Respect and Compassion, while always espousing safety.
- Greet and interact with guests upon arrival to the golf course.
- Coordinate with tee sheet and golf staff to ensure on-time start for all golfers.
- Welcome guests and acquaint them with the golf course.
- Work with golfers on the golf course to ensure timely play.
- Be a part of a team in developing customer service initiatives.
