About The Position

Opal Foods is currently accepting applications for the position of Grader Lead 2 at our School Processing Plant, Neosho, MO location. This position is responsible for helping Lead I and Processing Manager ensure proper operation of the facility during the shift. Will provide resources needed by team member and help to maintain compliance with company food safety, GMPs, safety policies and governmental regulations. Requirements

  • Must demonstrate attention to details
  • Must be knowledgeable in Opal Foods’ Quality Food Safety Policy, Personal Safety Policy, and Biosecurity Policy.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with USDA throughout the shift
  • Must be available to be scheduled for work 7 days a week including holidays
  • Must be clocked in and ready to work every day scheduled
  • Must be able to stay until eggs have completely run out of houses

Responsibilities

  • Help assign tasks and duties and monitor attendance
  • Help coach team members to improve performance and efficiency
  • Strong knowledge of company policies and government regulations
  • Ensure team members follow food safety, GMP and HACCP programs through spot checks and observation throughout the shift
  • Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of the work area
  • Understand and monitor SOPs
  • Help in all areas as needed to complete the day’s run
  • Work closely with quality team to help address deficiencies
  • Other duties as assigned
