So, join us-and help us create the next generation of technologies that will shape the future for decades to come.Logic Technology Development - Computational Modeling Technology is looking for highly driven and disciplined student to join our team as TCAD Software Research Engineer/Scientist Graduate Intern. You'll be a part of our team Summer 2025 for a duration of 3 months.You will be working in a dynamic team which develops and applies software tools, scripts, and physical models to find the research path and guide the development of Intel process technologies.As a TCAD Software Research Engineer/Scientist intern your responsibilities are dependent on the subgroup and will include but not be limited to:Developing and applying modeling and/or machine learning methodologies for the analysis of yield improvements, thermal management of reliability and manufacturing process of microprocessors devices.In this internship you will collaborate directly with other members of the team to identify and define methodologies and provide recommendations that achieve yield benefits, optimized thermal management and thermo-mechanical reliability.This is an internship and compensation will be given accordingly based on candidate education level and internship duration.

Requirements

  • Must be a full-time student pursuing a Masters or Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or other relevant related degrees with a software focus.
  • Must have a minimum of a 3.0 GPA in college courses to date.
  • 1+ years experience programming in C/C++/Python or equivalent for development positions

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with using TCAD or atomistic simulation to study thermal transport, material chemical interactions or circuit performance and characteristics.
  • Experience with modeling and/or machine learning methodologies for the analysis of yield improvements, thermal management of reliability and manufacturing process of microprocessors devices.
  • Requirements listed would be obtained through a combination of industry relevant job experience, internship experiences and or schoolwork/classes/research.
