Organization: CPMC-California Pacific Med Center Position Overview: Works in one or more areas of administrative specialization: acute care hospitals, medical groups/foundations and ambulatory care environments in an integrated, not-for-profit health care system. Gains experience and develops an in-depth understanding of operations and strategic initiatives through project work and direct participation in management activities. Responsibilities include, providing services to the day-to-day operating objectives of the assigned area, participating in projects and programs appropriate to the needs of the assigned area, participating in the planning and implementation of projects and initiatives, conducting research and reporting including recommendations or proposals for action. Job Description: EDUCATION: Bachelor's: Bachelor's degree required in a directly related field OR Master's: Enrolled in or a recent graduate of an MBA or other Master's level program with an accredited college or university TYPICAL EXPERIENCE: 1 year of recent relevant experience SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE: Knowledge of current issues affecting the healthcare industry is desired, as is awareness of applicable legal and accreditation requirements, standards, and guidelines Must have communication (written, verbal, and presentation), problem-solving, and analytical skills required to formulate and recommend creative solutions to diverse and complex problems. Computer skills are also required, including the use of word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software. Organization and prioritization are skills required. Assignments may be complex and varied, requiring the application of independent judgment and initiative. Requirements
