Teach in an innovative evidence-based graduate program with emphasis in the adult/gerontology acute care nurse practitioner (AGACNP) program. Teach in other graduate nursing core courses (e.g. quality improvement, informatics, health assessment, evidence-based practice) and interprofessional courses commensurate with department needs. Maintain national certification as an Adult- Gerontology or Adult Acute Care Nurse Practitioner and licensure as an advanced practice registered nurse (APRN) in the State of Minnesota. Maintain immunizations and background study clearance and other requirements of the department and college. Work effectively with health care industry and community affiliates on graduate nursing education, research, and practice issues. Assist Practice effectively through collaboration with other professionals in the health care industry and the community. Foster cultural intelligence, inclusive excellence, equity, and global involvement through authentic and professional relationships. Instruct courses in varied locations, at varied times, and via various media commensurate with department and university needs. Engage in scholarly research or creative achievement to enhance knowledge of field. Provide evidence of continuing preparation and study in the field to enhance teaching abilities. Contribute to student growth and development including student advising. Provide service to the university and community including the program, the department, the college, the university, and the greater community.
