Summary Responsible for providing, designing, developing, testing, implementing, and ongoing maintenance of new and existing software applications. This role also provides training and support to end users.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of Patient Access workflows
  • ADT and Registration workflows/Navigators
  • Authorization and Referral workflows/Navigators
  • Confirmation Warnings and Errors
  • Item Profiles and Item Defaults
  • Patient and Referral Workqueue knowledge
  • Reporting Workbench and SlicerDicer knowledge
  • Benefit Engine Knowledge
  • Bachelor's Degree Information Systems required
  • Experience in the development, support or operation of software applications 2-3 years required
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical staff.
  • Demonstrated analytic and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to learn quickly.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 and other popular office productivity solutions.
  • If utilizing Epic, you must be able to obtain the required certifications as outlined by program requirements.

  • Epic Grand Central, Prelude or Cadence Certification Preferred

Responsibilities

  • Reviews system requirements and business processes; tests, debugs, and implements software solutions.
  • Develops and executes test plans and performs other software quality assurance tasks.
  • Trains end users on the operation of software applications. Develops end-user documentation.
  • Provides ongoing support of the software applications by identifying and resolving issues.
  • Runs reports, updates tables, and performs other tasks associated with the ongoing operation of the software environment.
  • Participates in regular team meetings to discuss team activities, issues, and updates.
