About The Position

Overview: This role will be supporting our Graphic Services activities under the supervision of Dr. Will Ray. An ideal candidate will have: Experience with graphic design, layout and related software. Experience with at least one visual/studio-arts modality, formal training is ideal. Experience with general and biomedical/anatomical illustration in traditional, mixed media and digital vector formats. Knowledge of human anatomy. Knowledge of cellular microanatomy and molecular structure representations is ideal. Experience with motion graphics and computer animation, and/or traditional animation, videography and editing is ideal. Experience with complex data visualization and at least one data-visualization programming language (Python, Processing, etc) is desirable. Must be able to work a flexible schedule with occasional after hours support.
