About The Position

Graphic Specialist will execute Marketing creative projects from conception to production, in accordance with of the overall image and brand of Soboba Casino while meeting the necessary deadlines.

Requirements

  • Must be 21 years of age, or older.
  • High School diploma or equivalent, required.
  • Updated physical and/or online portfolio with graphic work.
  • Two (2) years of graphic design experience and/or Associates (AA) in Graphic Design.
  • Detail-oriented design, layout, and production.
  • Able to work with PC and Mac Platforms for navigation and troubleshooting.
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suites, Image Stock, Motion Graphic programs, Templates, Web and other software such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to collaborate with all department staff members as well as vendors.
  • Able to meet strict deadlines.
  • Must be able to provide evidence of eligibility to work in the United States of America.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a valid Soboba Tribal Gaming Commission license.
  • Required to submit to and obtain negative results on all drug and/or alcohol testing.

Nice To Haves

  • Motion graphics experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare press-ready/digital layouts for in-house and outside advertisements.
  • Maintain production on promotion and event print collateral materials, ensuring consistency of branding and messages in all creative media outlets.
  • Create Motion Graphics and animated content for digital platforms, including social media, digital displays, web, email, and promotional video content.
  • Organize and prioritize projects delegated through project management system to ensure proper deadlines are met and allow advanced publicity of advertisements.
  • Create layouts and oversee implementation of advertisement signage on and off property.
  • Obtain cost estimates from outside vendors, i.e. printers, paper suppliers, etc., prior to submitting press-ready collateral.
  • Assist in maintaining the archive system of all creative projects and graphic department library.
  • Produces graphic art and visual print collateral materials for promotions, advertisements, and informative and instructional material through a variety of media outlets.
  • Remains abreast of technological advances in the field and can identify areas of use in the organization.
  • Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
  • Designs and develops works under the guidance of the Sr. Graphic Specialist and Creative Supervisor.
  • Must be physically present to work a regular, reliable, and predictable work schedule in accordance with business demands, and maintain a consistent and regular attendance record.
  • Perform special projects and other responsibilities, tasks, or duties as requested.
