About The Position

Tessera is seeking an motivated and professional Graveyard Shift Supervisor. The Graveyard Supervisor’s primary duty and responsibility is to supervise the employees working the graveyard shift and the total work effort associated with operation, sustainment, restoration, and modernization of the facility systems and components during their shift. The Graveyard Supervisor shall be the subject matter expert for facility maintenance and repair during swing shift hours. Productivity, workplace safety, customer satisfaction, and the team’s success is dependent on the leadership team position’s efforts. Requirements

  • Associate's degree in electrical, general or facility maintnenance
  • 3-5 years in Facility Maintenance
  • Equivalent combination of experience and education accepted.
  • Possessing in-depth knowledge of electrical systems components, and relevant codes and regulations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex facility issues.
  • Keen eye for detail to ensure projects are installed correctly and safely.
  • A valid state driver’s license is required with the ability to obtain and maintain coverage by Tessera’s insurance.

Responsibilities

  • Leading, mentoring, and managing a team of diverse employees, delegating tasks, and providing technical guidance.
  • Developing and implementing preventative maintenance plans to ensure optimal system performance and longevity.
  • Responsible for supervising a variety of tasks, including repair and maintenance of painted surfaces, fencing, concrete, asphalt, gravel roads, road shoulders, swales, culverts, drainage ditches, and snow removal.
  • Be proactive in identifying problems early before they become significant problems requiring greater resources for resolution.
  • Ensuring strict adherence to safety protocols and regulations, especially when working with energized equipment
  • Planning, scheduling, and overseeing electrical projects, including material procurement and cost estimation.
  • Maintaining accurate records of work performed, generating reports, and communicating effectively with the customer.
