About The Position

Runk & Pratt Golf Companies is seeking hardworking and dependable individuals to join our Grounds Maintenance Team. This position plays a vital role in keeping our golf courses in top condition, ensuring a clean, safe, and visually appealing environment for our members and guests.

Requirements

• Previous groundskeeping or landscaping experience preferred but not required—willing to train the right candidate.
• Ability to operate and maintain golf course equipment safely (mowers, trimmers, etc.).
• Must be able to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.

Responsibilities

• Mow fairways, greens, tees, and roughs using various turf equipment.
• Perform daily landscaping and grounds upkeep including trimming, edging, blowing, and raking.
• Assist with irrigation system maintenance and hand-watering as needed.
• Apply fertilizers, seed, and pest control under direction of the Superintendent.
• Maintain bunkers, cart paths, and course accessories.
• Perform minor equipment maintenance and cleaning.
• Follow all safety protocols and maintain awareness of golfers on the course.
• Assist with seasonal projects such as aeration, sod work, or special event setup.
