About The Position

POSITION SUMMARY: This position is responsible for maintaining the grounds of the plant.

Requirements

• Minimum Degree Required: High School Diploma or equivalent
• Experience: No experience required – will provide training
• At least 18 years of age
• Moderate lifting, 21-59 lbs.
• Moderate carrying, 21 – 59 lbs.
• Use of fingers
• Prioritization cleanliness and safety
• Ability to push, reach over shoulder, stand, walk, bend, and kneel
• Ability to lift, climb ladders, and work at particular heights
• Hearing (aid permitted)
• Ability to perform repetitive motions
• Knowledge of occupational and safety hazards
• Communication skills
• Team – oriented

Responsibilities

• Maintain grounds through mowing, trimming & weeding
• Clean up trash around buildings, parking lots & storage areas
• Maintenance of sprinkler, irrigation systems and storm water ditches
• Preparing outdoor areas for various weather conditions
• Maintaining waste streams outside, which includes pallets, drums & excursions
• Maintain surplus material for recycling
• Assist in bailing and shipping cardboard
• Handle and store hazardous waste in respects to EHS standards
• Operate forklift and load trailers
• All other duties as assigned
