About the role HealthFitness is looking for a Group Class Instructor to join the fitness team at our corporate client site located in New Brunswick, New Jersey (NJ). Looking for an instructor who can teach up to 8 classes per week at multiple client sites in the New Brunswick area. Responsible for providing fun, effective, and safe group exercise to members such as dance, kickboxing, step, boot camp, and circuit.

Requirements

• Current group exercise instructor certification from ACE, AFAA/NASM, ACSM, NETA, NCCPT, or other NCCA nationally accredited specialty class certification required.
• Adult CPR/AED and First Aid certifications from American Heart Association, American Red Cross or American Safety & Health Institute required within 30 days of hire.
• Ability to navigate electronic onboarding and timecard systems required.
• Applicants must meet hiring requirements including but not limited to pre-employment drug test.

Nice To Haves

• 2+ years group exercise instruction experience strongly preferred.
• Additional commission opportunities for someone with an industry recognized and HealthFitness approved Personal Trainer certification.
