The Group Director – Program and Construction Management is responsible for leading our team of approximately 60 staff performing Program Management, Construction Management, and Resident Engineering & Inspection services. As a key member of the New York Office Leadership Team, the Group Director: Brings culture of leadership and development; Responsible for technical coaching and mentoring and efficient, productive utilization of staff in providing high-quality service. Drives profitable growth of the Program & Construction Management services Collaborates with leadership across the office and division to apply the firm’s strategic sales and planning approaches. Leads / supports project pursuits and proposals Drives 4for4 project delivery and manages project scope, budget, and quality control for large and/or complex projects or programs. Coordinates project priorities, staffing schedules, and staff assignments for profitable performance. Oversees departments and sections financial metrics to ensure adherence with the group’s goals and in align with office expectations. Ensures clients are provided the proper resources at the appropriate time Serves and bridge between NY Design office and collocated staff at HNTB’s client-focused / field projects. Brings connected culture to our staff and ensures career and development is seamless independent of an employee's reporting location.
