Group Exercise Instructor
About The Position
Responsible for teaching group fitness classes at specified Elevation locations in the KANSAS CITY, MO area as well as being available to provide front desk and group fitness class coverage on an as needed basis (on call). This position provides safe, motivating, and effective individual and group exercise instruction with excellent customer service skills, strong communication skills, and the ability to motivate others in person and virtually. Provides up-to-date quality training and high energy motivation to members and participants in order to maximize participation, outcomes, and customer satisfaction. Responsible for communicating and upholding company standards.
Requirements
- Current CPR/AED certification - required
- Experience teaching group exercise classes (strength, bootcamp, HIIT) - required
Nice To Haves
- Mat/Reformer pilates experience is a plus!
- Personal training certification - optional, not required
- BS in Exercise Science or related field - preferred
- Additional Specialty Group Fitness class certifications - preferred
